About Us
Eagle's Lair is a family-run enterprise. For now, we have only one product to offer; Sourdough Schoolma'am. We are a work in progress. We hope to soon offer all of Edna's original Alaskan poetry in a book titled, Land Of The Williwaw, first published in 1966.
And eventually, we plan to showcase the lovely carvings by our very own Stan Milos, who is already a renowned artist in Yukon Territory, Canada.
Our family is scattered throughout the state; Wasilla, Kenai, Seward and Haines. Each community has its own classic Alaskan history and beauty.
Half of us were born in this great state of Alaska. The other half; well, our mothers just didn't happen to be here at the time. No matter; being an Alaskan is more a lifestyle than a birthright.
We are Edna’s progeny; proud third and fourth generation Alaskans. Like her, our hearts throb for our beloved homeland; even while living here. We are proud to share Edna’s story with those who love to read about Alaska’s history and its pioneers who struggled through the hardships and shaped this Great Land for those who followed.
